Since 1999, Flywheel Arts Collective has organized all-ages concerts, film screenings, theater performances, zine fests, art openings, and community events in Easthampton, MA. As a community arts space, we aim to give artists of all types the opportunity to craft, practice, and perform their work in an environment where creativity is valued over profit. Volunteer run and governed by consensus, Flywheel believes that art and information should be equally accessible and affordable to all people.
Recently, Flywheel made the decision to no longer rent our space in Easthampton's Old Town Hall. Given the duration and open-endedness of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is unclear when we will be able to resume doing public events. Don't take this as a sign that Flywheel is over. We have chosen to leave our physical location to preserve the future viability of our collective and our ability to support art & music in Western Massachusetts. We are grateful for all of your support over the years through attendance at shows, donations, and goodwill.
We are excited for Flywheel's next evolutionary phase, and hope that you will support us during this process of moving forward and revisioning what Flywheel can do to further our mission. of making art & information accessible and affordable to all people.
