Focus Academy

Not every student is alike.  Some students have challenges that make learning in a traditional academic environment frustrating. Recognizing that these students require unique strategies for making learning fresh and accessible is what Focus Academy is all about. Our innovative program in special needs education considers academics and social skills in tandem, a holistic approach to learning. 

Focus Academy is a free, public charter school for students ages 14 through 22 located in Temple Terrace. We offer a high school program and a transition program for students with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Intellectually Disabled, Specific Learning Disabled, Language Impaired, or Other Health Impaired.
