FOCUS Detroit

FOCUS exists to serve the poor by bringing together Orthodox Christian churches and community partners to provide Food, Occupation, Clothing, Understanding, and Shelter to address the needs of our Detroit community.

We have a twice-monthly hot meal program, tutoring and mentoring programs for elementary and middle school students, holiday assistance programs for Thanksgiving and Christmas, a cooperative community garden,  educational programs for suburban and urban volunteers to work towards racial reconciliation through the shared mission of service, and a walk-up neighborhood basic needs "free store."
