Food Runners Club Inc

Food Runners is a life skills program that provides the opportunity to serve others. Our youth volunteers expand their personal horizons beyond their immediate peer group to a larger community, their neighborhood, their city, and surrounding county areas.

 Food Runners Club is run in part by our youth volunteers.  Our youth volunteers are encouraged to make decisions and work as a team experiencing leadership and responsibility skills by participating and organizing hospitality and charitable service projects throughout our community.

 Our youth volunteers learn valuable life skills that will benefit and prepare them to take on the challenges of the real business world. They learn the value of teamwork and the benefits of helping others along with obtaining the satisfaction of personal achievement.

 The Food Runners program is design so our youth volunteers learn many areas of the food and service industry,  valuable  work readiness skills, life skills and charity awareness.

 We do lots of catering around our community, we cater mostly for nonprofits, schools events,  public service events and we do it for very  low fees. We make it so affordable so charitable organizations are able to keep on with their missions as well.

 For three years in a row we have serve at our local Relay for life, we cook and serve for nearly 300 cancer survivors each year.  We bake and serve for adults with mental disabilities and we bake monthly for our local senior center.

 We hold bake sales to help support our program and provide occasional dinners to our local firefighters and other charitable organizations.  We host two yearly events that benefits our local low income families.

 Each year in November we host a "5K Can Run" food drive to support the Corona/Norco Settlement House and in  December we host  a free dinner event for 100 less fortunate kids under the age of eight and  we provide them with a meal and  "Build a Bear Workshop" Teddy Bear and a bag of toys.
