Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Foothill and De Anza colleges have demonstrated excellence and innovation in academic programs and student success for more than 50 years. More than 65,000 students—from recent high school grads to career-changing professionals—attend Foothill-De Anza colleges for outstanding instruction, university transfer preparation, hands-on career training, basic skills improvement and professional development courses each year. Despite the wealth of the Silicon Valley, you may be surprised to learn that many Foothill-De Anza students are economically disadvantaged and first in their families to attend college. Donations to the foundation help support student success programs that connect these students to supportive communities of counselors, advisers, tutors and study groups.
