Footlite Musicals is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation founded in 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our mission is to produce musicals and other dramatic offerings and to provide for education and training of persons in the theatre through hands-on experience and classes in the various phases of dramatic and musical theatre. We offer the best of Broadway presenting seven musical productions each year plus a summer workshop for children in musical theatre . In a normal season, a new show is on stage about every six weeks beginning in July. Footlite is conveniently located in downtown Indianapolis at the corner of 19th and Alabama streets in the center of the historic Herron-Morton Place neighborhood. Come early and enjoy our beautiful two-manual, eleven-rank Page Theatre pipe organ, one of only a few left in the United States.

We are currently raising funds to help with start-up costs for the remaining three shows scheduled in our 2020-2021 season: Women Of Broadway (January), Blood Brothers (March), and Something Rotten (May). With no ticket revenue since March 2020, Footlite needs the community's assistance to start back up. Our goal is to raise over $3,000 to meet the challenge amount for the A Community Thrives grant for which we have applied. When we raise $3,000 before October 16th, the organization will become eligible to be awarded larger grants of up to $100,000. Please consider a donation to demonstrate the passion that the Central Indiana community has for live musical theatre. Thank you!
