Forever Love Organization

Over 20 years ago, I came to Asia with a longing in my heart to make a difference.  What I found broke my heart even more. 

On a snowy, cold winter day, I walked down the main street of one of the world's most enfuential cities, as I was approached by two chldren 3 and 5yrs old begging for money or bread.  Their little cloth shoes were soaking wet from the snow and their little cheeks were red from the cold wind.  I stood there, with my heart torn in two and vowed to do something for children like these.  

The following spring, together with a few friends, the Forever Love Organization began....Little by little we began to make a home, and a life available for children just like these. 

The five year old later came to one of our training programs and two years later we were able to reunite her with her real parents.  (names and pictures withheld for security and privacy) The little girl could not remember her real name nor could she remember her address, but every night, she cried herself to sleep.  It seemed impossible to find her parents in a country of over a billion people, but with LOVE everything is possible!!  A very brave helper set out with the girl and traveled to a place about 12 hours away, asking various people as she felt lead to ask to.  Finally a taxi driver said he thought he remembered something about a girl who disappeared 12 years before...He drove them to a police station and they asked the police if their area was missing a girl about 12 years before.  The police man made a phone call and within a few minutes a lady walked through the door and immediately broke down crying.  She looked exactly like the (now grown up) little girl.  The girl immediately recognized her mother.  The two  wept as they embraced for a long time.  12 years had gone by, but the mother still recognized her daughter.  All things are possible with LOVE.... 

The brave young helper  in this story(only 21 at the time) herself came to one of Forever Love training programs only a few years before.  She was so impacted by the LOVE from the helpers and teachers that her life was changed FOREVER!  She now dedicates her life to helping others.  As do many of the kids Forever Love has helped.

Forever Love is about changing young peoples lives FOREVER!  Especially the young people who are on the streets, child slavery, prostitution, or worse.  Many of our helpers come from broken lives themselves and have found LOVE.  LOVE inspires us to LOVE others, and to reach out to them, offering a new life, and believing in miracles for them.
