Forsyth Humane Society

Forsyth Humane Society is excited to be part of Shelter Slumber Pawty on April 6, a fundraising event that brings animal supporters together to raise funds and awareness for the animals in our care.

What does this party look like, you are wondering?! For ONE ENTIRE DAY, community members will live side-by-side with animals in our care. That’s right! Participants spend 24 hours eating, sleeping, and “pawtying” with shelter pets! Participants share their experiences on social media while asking for donations from friends, family, and the community. 

While fundraising is an important aspect of the event, showcasing the animals in our care is the bigger impact.  For 24 hours, animals participating in the pawty have an advocate outside of the staff and volunteers who interact with these animals every day. With your help, we can increase the visibility of animals in our care and the work we do!
