The US Army’s Signal Corps Museum closed in February 2021 after being established on Fort Gordon, GA during the Vietnam war.  The museum closure was due to the massive new construction that is transforming the fort to become on of the most modern in the history of the Army.  We – the city in partnership with the Army – have a chance to not only relocate the museum but expand it to support the  new Cyber Branch of the Army and capturing the unique history of the fort itself.

The FGHMS is a 501(c)3 organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to SAVE OUR STORY.  We are committed to preserving the history of Americans who served in the 160 year-old Signal Corps, the new Army Cyber Corps, and all those who have served on the installation since 1938. We have a plan!  Join us to help create the future!

Preserving this important history for the nation is essential to training present day soldiers, educating the public and preparing young Americans for service across our communities in the twenty-first century. We now need you to help us save these stories to inspire the next generation.
