PARK IT HERE for Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, celebrate Fort Greene Park—and the neighbors, families, and friends who make it the vibrant heart of Brooklyn. Spanning 30 acres of historic Olmsted & Vaux–designed green space, Fort Greene Park is the primary park for more than 30,000 residents, including those in nearby NYCHA communities. With over one million visitors each year, park use per acre is twice that of Prospect Park and nearly matches Central Park—proof of how vital this green space is to daily life in Fort Greene.

Through more than 200 free programs annually, the Fort Greene Park Conservancy keeps the park thriving—from the Chinese and Spanish Language Film Series to the Community Heroes public art project and hands-on Green Team program. The Green Team offers paid, environmental job pathways for local teens, providing real-world experience in park stewardship, horticulture, and community engagement while helping to care for this historic landscape.

Your gift helps ensure Fort Greene Park remains a place where everyone can PARK IT HERE —to play, connect, and belong.
