Fort Worth Community Collaborative

Fort Worth Community Collaborative (FWCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on connecting community members with clothing while also reducing textile waste in Tarrant County. 

We have a permanent donation space hosted by The Benbrook Public Library where community members can donate new and gently used clothing, shoes and accessories.  We ensure that items are in good, wearable condition and then sort them by size and gender. Items that are worn-out or unwearable are up-cycled into reusable shopping bags to be handed out at events, or recycled via The Green Bin program.

We partner with other local resource centers such as elementary schools, community centers and other non-profits, to host pop-up shops where everyone is invited to shop for free with FWCC! 

That’s right - our events are open to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status, gender identity or religion, and the clothing is free! We bring over 100 totes of clothing to each event, with sizes ranging from newborn to men and women’s extended plus. Shoppers are invited to take as long as they need and as much as they need. FWCC will never charge an admission fee or enforce an item limit. 

Since our founding in 2022, we have connected over 1,000 shoppers with more than 6 tons of clothing!

We recently partnered with Westside Presbyterian Church and will be opening the doors to our community closet in October!
