Foundation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Foundation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation began in Texas in 1985 with a group of PM&R physicians raising money for reseach in the field of PM&R.  The Foundation has grown into the largest organization in the US whose only mission is to increase reserach dollars in the field of PM&R. 

Nine out of ten Americans will have either a temporary or permanent disability due to illness or injury, yet the field of PM&R remains the least funded medical speciality on a federal level.  The Foundation funds 13 annual grants in PM&R, yet receives 6 to 8 times the amounts of qualified applications as there are funds available.  Please help support the need for increased research dollars in this area by making a donation today to help launch one additional grant for 2015.
