Foundation for Western Fish and Wildlife

The Foundation for Western Fish and Wildlife is our fundraising arm for The Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA).  We represent Wildife Agenices in 23 states and Canadian provinces, covering nearly 3.7 million square miles of some of North America's most wild and scenic country.  We support sound resource mangement and bulding partnerships al all levels to conserve native wildlife for the use and benefit of all citizens, now and in the future. 

Our initiatives include the Lesser Prairie-Chicken, Swift Fox, and the Black Footed Ferret.  Western Native Trout, Sagebrush Ecosystem and the Crucial Habitat Assessment Tool (CHAT) are also main initiatives.  WAFWA assists in the coordination of conservation efforts with multiple states in the form of grants.  Some of these proiects include wolverine, wildlife values and sage grouse.
