Any amount is helpful and will go a long way to support these areas of our mission.  Your donation of $50 - $300 will support scholarship opportunities for individuals who wish to attend a 12-Step Conscious Contact program or a first responder with a recent critical incident. Donations will support the purchase of new Chapel Chairs, facility updates, repairs, and grounds upkeep.  Please consider taking part in our fundraising event!

We offer a place for those to come together on our 8 acre property. The Center is a Catholic,  non- profit, 501(3)(c), private retreat house. Throughout the year we offer team and hosted retreat programs, private and directed retreats, and a place for workshops and meetings.

We are not subsidized through Diocesan support and rely on generous donations to support our property, grounds, daily operations, and education and annual programs. 

In the Spirit of St. Francis, we welcome all, through ecumenical practice, quite retreat, prayer, and community gathering.

Our Story: Reverend Mother Joan Marie Wheeler, OSF received the deed for the property in 1958 from Joseph E. Miyares, a Tampa attorney. The Provincial of Florida, Sister Lucian Walsh, OSF, requested that a retreat center be built. Sr. Lucian wanted this retreat center to be ecumenical in nature so all people of different faith traditions could make retreats at the Center. We opened in October of 1970 and became the first spiritual center owned and operated by the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y.  Since then thousands of people have come to this sanctuary for private reflection, retreats, spiritual direction and hospitality.
