Services:

• Adult Day Care –respite care for seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and their caregivers.
• Nutritious Meals – prepared in our own kitchen and served daily at 11:30 a.m.
• Meals on Wheels –delivers a hot, nutritious meal to homebound seniors who qualify
• AARP Tax Preparation-Volunteers help seniors file their taxes electronically.
• Medical Equipment – lends a limited amount of medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, canes) to members
• Medicare Benefits Counseling by appointment

 

Opportunities:

• Exercise classes daily (low impact aerobics, yoga, tai chi, chair yoga, arthritis exercise), treadmill and bicycles, other exercise equipment
• Craft classes (crochet, knitting)
• Billiards
• Bridge club and other card clubs
• Godiva’s Closet, gently used clothing for sale daily 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
• Picket Fence Treasure Shoppe – slightly used home treasures for sale daily 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
• Nancy Wilson Craft Center – Arts and crafts (including quilt tops and quilts) made here at the center are for sale. We have a volunteer, a professional seamstress, who does alterations for a nominal charge. Open daily 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
