Freedom Road Transportation Authority

We fill a transportation gap giving individuals the freedom to avoid social isolation, attain employment, access medical services, shopping and other activities. We are committed to helping people lead more satisfying and rewarding lives, often in spite of significants financial, health and mobility challenges. Instead of creating dependency, we seek to educate, and assist people to strengthen or rebuild their social networks, to access needed human and social services, and to continue to live successfully and independently n their communities. Compassion and caring in our community is alive and well! A homeless person living in a shelter who had a vehicle was helping others. He now is a volunteer driver, and those he was helping are now in our program. He has since found an apartment and is one our greatest success stories. 100% of all donations go toward our Volunteer Driver mileage reimbursement program. We help those who are unable to use public transportation or where public transportation is not available.
