Now in its 4th year, The French American School of Denver is skyrocketing on its journey to educational excellence. Our highly qualified French and English teachers provide a rigorous French immersion curriculum for all our students. It's clear -- together -- our community achieves BIG results. Recently:

• We were commended by DPS for our superior academic results - we are ranked #1 in English Language Acquisition, and #5 in Math for our CMAS results, among all DPS K-8 schools! 
• We have recently been awarded the LabelFranc, a seal of excellence from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recognizing exceptional quality in French Bilingual education. 
• ...And, we'll never forget the incredible recognition we received last Fall from 9News as their December "Cool School" highlighting our achievements.

Did you know?   As a charter school, we carry expenses that district-run schools don't have, yet the per-pupil revenue we receive from DPS is not increased to help offset these?  As an example, unlike district schools, we are responsible for covering 100% of costs related to our facilities -- nearly $450K this year alone.  In addition, we have costs directly related to our unique curriculum that are over and above what most DPS schools offer. Our materials are brought directly from France, we require work Visas for many of our teaching staff, and we hope to offer additional elective and after school programs. Launching a high quality school requires enormous investment - in our facility, our staffing, and our curriculum. 

Charter schools require significant reserves to plan and build the best possible future for our students and programs. We simply cannot continue our growth without successful fundraising efforts.

SUPPORT enrichment programs and collaborations with neighboring institutions like the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science.  With your support, FASDenver engaged a part-time music teacher for the 2024-25 school year, we aspire to add a part-time visual arts teacher and provide sustained exposure to the arts.
