Fresh Lifelines for Youth Inc

Hope is a key ingredient for change – without it you can’t see what is possible.  Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) Leadership program provides youth in Santa Clara, San Mateo and Alameda counties ages 15-18 who are on probation or at-risk of being placed on probation with a sense that they can become more than their past mistakes.  And, isn’t this the chance that we all deserve?

Many of the youth we serve believe that they will be dead or in prison by the time they are 18.  Juxtapose this alarming stat with what our youth tell us upon completing our program -- 94% of FLY graduates say that they now have hope for their future.

-Leadership program begins with a three-day retreat centered on leadership, volunteerism, and community activism

-Each teen works individually with Case Manager who does a comprehensive assessment to help the youth identify and build on their innate talents and strengths and together the youth and Case Manger create an individualized action plan.

-Youth gain access to a positive peer group and healthy social network that supports and encourages their personal transformation
