Friends in Deed

Friends In Deed has been serving the Greater Green Valley, Arizona area for over 40 years.  We provide, at no charge to our clients, durable medical equipment such as walkers, wheel chairs, canes, crutches and the like for sixty days.  We have over 100 drivers who utilize their own vehicles to transport clients’ to and from medical appointments, shopping, government offices and other similar destinations.  We also have a social van that takes a group to Trader Joe's every Tuesday, either Park Place Mall or Tucson Mall every Thursday and on many special trips to local museums, shows and other attractions. We have a wheelchair van that assists our wheelchair bound clients in their transportation needs.  We hold a blood pressure clinic every Tuesday and Friday with retired RN's and LPN's doing the checks.  On Friday we host a social during the clinic as a chance for seniors to visit with friends and neighbors. We do not charge for any of our services and depend on you to help fund our operation.  In 2013 we served over 14,000 clients and expect to do even more in 2014.  Friends In Deed is run 100% by donations with no Federal, State or county funding.
