Friends of Buckhorn State Park Inc

Currently we are looking for funding to help to purchase a fire wood processor. This will be used for processing firewood and to make it available to campers who visit our park. Firewood is one of our main sources of income. The money that we receive. from the sale of firewood helps to maintain the park. We also sponsor  a naturalist who educates the community about wildlife and vegetation in our area. We help stock the fishing pond with bluegills and sponsor a kids fishing day. A handicapped accesible camp cabin is a project that we helped finish. Many campers from all over the country visit our park each year. Because of our contined support for the Buckhorn State Park, these visitors have many pleasant experiences during their stay with us, many of them return each year.
