Friends of Casi

Carson City's animal shelter was built in the early 1960's when Carson City's population was 7500.  We now have a population of approximately 55,000 people, yet our shelter has remained the same, until now.

Over the last three years, CASI has worked tirelessly to raise money to help Carson City build a new animal shelter.  We are thrilled that construction is now underway, but our job isn't finished.  There is still a significant need to raise money to help equip this new shelter, scheduled to be completed in September 2016.

In addition to providing homeless animals a greater chance at finding their forever homes, CASI is assisting with spay/neuter and animal advocacy programs.  Our organization has united a community by letting them be a part of a life saving team.
