Join Us in Revitalizing Constitution Park's Deer Run Boardwalk Trail!

Our mission is to enhance Constitution Park in Ossipee, NH, by creating a more comprehensive, inclusive, and interactive trail system. Our current focus is restoring the beloved Deer Run Boardwalk Trail, a 0.23-mile path that winds through beautiful woodlands and wetlands, offering the only land access to Ossipee Lake. Once ADA compliant, this trail has fallen into disrepair and is no longer safe for visitors.

Campaign Goals

  Restore Accessibility: Our primary goal is to rehabilitate the Deer Run Trail, making it accessible for everyone, including those with mobility issues. This will allow all visitors, from caregivers with strollers to individuals using wheelchairs, to safely enjoy the natural beauty of the park.

  Public Lake Access: By restoring this trail, we will reestablish the only public access by land to Ossipee Lake, providing a vital connection to the community and its natural surroundings.

  Preserve Natural Beauty: The trail is home to diverse flora and fauna, rare plants, and a variety of wildlife. Restoring it will not only ensure safety but also preserve this important ecosystem for educational and recreational purposes.
