Hidden Heroes - DNR Search & Rescue
Running swift water rescue drills
The DNR Search & Rescue (SAR) team is made up of brave women and men who volunteer their time, resources, and expertise to help search for and rescue those missing our injured across Georgia and beyond. Their training, supplies, and equipment are funded by donors like you who want to make a difference.
Georgia has one of the most valuable SAR teams in the southeast because they have to be. In Georgia, rescues and searches take place in caves, rivers, oceans, lakes, and even along cliffs and mountains. This elite team undertakes highly specialized training to be able to respond no matter the situation.
With your help on Georgia Gives Day, we can ensure they have all the supplies and training they need to help keep you and your family safe. These are some of Georgia's hidden heroes and they need your help today.
