Friends of Grace Baptist Community Center

Grace Community Center is a therapeutic community center for adults who endure symptoms of mental health and developmental disabilities in Santa Clarea County.

Grace Community Center is located in downtown San Jose, and provides therapeutic recreation and social rehabilitation programs for adults who, due to the severity of their mental disability, rely on the safety of the environemnt and support of the therapeutic activities to seek recovery and reintegration into the community. 

Some programs that are offered include: art therapy, sewing, knitting & crochet, band jam, life skills, yoga, stained glass, and voices and delusions. 

Grace Community Center is operated by the City of San Jose and receives a large part of its funding from the Mental Health Department of the County of Santa Clara. 

Friends of Grace Community Center provides advocacy and raises funds to support the unique programs of Grace Community Center.
