Friends of Idaho State Parks Inc

The Friends are currently working with Thousand Springs State Park and Idaho’s Watchable Wildlife program to create a wildlife viewing blind at the Crystal Springs Unit of Malad Gorge State Park. The project would allow photographers and bird watchers to park nearby, screened from waterfowl on the Snake River, then access a large blind on the riverbank. This site is a favorite of waterfowl. The blind would allow people to view herons, pelicans, ducks, geese, egrets and many other birds without disturbing them.
