Friends of Jefferson Park Inc

Quality of life for an inner city neighborhood means preserving a healthy and crime free environment to support those who choose to live here.  The neighborhood is located immediately north of the University of Arizona.  Friends of Jefferson Park, Inc and the neighbors of Jefferson Park worked since 2001 to establish the neighborhood as an historic district. Four home tours, private donations, and many research hours later we have paid off all but $1400 of a $38,000 debt for the nomination.

The group continues to identify needs and mobilizes to meet those needs, thus taking a proactive stand to preserve this uniqueness and historic neighborhood.
