Friends of Lesotho Inc

FOL helps to support Tuition Assistance (TAP) and Peace Corps Volunteer projects through the Peace Corps Partnership Program (PCPP) by donating to the Lesotho Country Fund.

  Little Angels Orphan Day and Pre-School (Thaba Bosiu)-Provides day care and 2 meals a day for
  orphans as well as pre-school and pays for teacher salaries
• 
  Sesotho Counting Book- Is publishing a new Sesotho counting book by and for Basotho children which will be disseminated, without charge, into the homes of Basotho children
• 
  Laptops to Lesotho- Provides laptops, internet access and training to children in remote areas
• 
  Family Literacy Lesotho Book Project (Maseru)-Develops books in Sesotho and provides books and information access to expand literacy
• 
  Qholaqhoe Mountain Connections - Improve the lives of children orphaned by AIDS and help lift the country’s young people out of abject poverty through educational opportunities.
• 
  Wittenberg Service Projects – Several projects including building homes for orphan families;
  repaired several  other orphan-headed households; built greenhouses, chicken coops, pigsties, rabbit hutches and playgrounds at multiple orphan sites;planted 240 fruit trees at 3 locations.
