Friends of Stevens Creek Trail

Since 1991, the Friends of Stevens Creek Trail has brought together people in the cities of Cupertino, Los Altos, Sunnyvale and Mountain View in support of the common cause of building, using and maintaining the Stevens Creek Trail.  While staff and council members in these cities has changed over the years, the Friends has remained a steady force for getting the trail completed between the bay and mountains.

Those who use the trail often don't realize that this wonderful community asset is often misunderstood and faces opposition to extension and completion.  We help to rally the community to make their voices heard and search for a way to bring the trail to reality.
