Friends of Sunderland Public Library

The Friends of the Sunderland Public Library are a volunteer organization that supports the efforts of the Sunderland Public Library. The Friends of the Sunderland Public Library provide funding each year to purchase books, DVDs, and other loanable materials for the Sunderland and wider communities to enjoy. The Friends of the Sunderland Public Library sponsor many of the library's special programs, including the Summer Reading Program, Chess Club, Teen Advisory Boards, and many other programs for people of all ages. The Friends of the Sunderland Public Library also sponsors special funding projects, including the purchase of new technology for the library, new furniture for the library, and sponsor the landscaping of the library to help keep Sunderland beautiful. None of the work that the Sunderland Public Library does could be accomplished without the help of the Friends of the Sunderland Public Library. Your donation today will go towards purchasing materials for residents throughout Massachusetts to enjoy and will help sponsor Sunderland's Summer Reading program, which encourages children and families to continue reading outside of school and shows children that reading is a fun and worthwhile activity.
