Friends of the Brandon Public Library

As you have heard - the Brandon Library is expanding!  Through the campaign, we have reached enough to get started...or so we thought.  With the generosity of our community and Library supporters, the campaign has reached the point of putting the project out for bids. Our hope is to have the project start this year with a completion date of July 2023. However, with the tight timeline, supply shortages, and high material costs, only one bid was submitted at a 30% over our price range. Don't get discouraged, our plan is to put the bid out again in the Fall for a 2023 start date to encourage more offers and hope material pricing comes down, all while volunteers continue seeking campaign funds. A grant through the Gannett Foundation, is within our reach, but to remain eligible for the grant, we need to raise at least $3,000 by August 11 - through this website.  

We have received so much wonderful support, but we can still use your help. Help us reach this goal. Every little bit helps.
