The Friends of the Burleson Public Library:

• Conducts ongoing fund-raising projects
• Encourages citizens to use the library and its services
• Serves as ambassadors of goodwill for the library
• Sponsors and underwrites programs for the library that are not included in the budget
• Sponsors special events, such as contests, programs, and receptions
• Volunteers time and resources for regular daily tasks and special projects
