Outdoor Gathering Spaces

The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library is dedicated to supporting, improving, and promoting library services through fundraising, assisting with programs, and taking part in fun events as a team of volunteers. With a new Ellsworth Public Library building and renovation project set to begin, our role has taken on an even greater significance.

As of April 12, 2022, $1.85 million has been raised for construction costs and furnishings for the new public library. Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $20,000 to create welcoming outdoor gathering spaces that will serve our community in a variety of ways for years to come. The new library is set to be opened in January 2023.
