Friends of the Falls Public Library

With your help,

Friends of the Library:

• Provide all summer reading participants with free books (up to 4 books per participant)

• Offered a STEAM take-home project almost weekly since May 2020.

• Purchased puzzles and games for in-library and at-home use

• Provided every graduating first grader a “YOU CAN READ!” book with a library card application inside

• Provided the community with a monthly opportunity to shop our used books sales, earning over $2000 in 2021

• Reworked Book Babies program to reach as many babies in the community as possible with a free book and information to the parents about the importance of reading aloud to young children

• Continued providing a free book to children through the Reading Ready program any time someone records 100 days of reading to them, up until they enter Kindergarten

• Purchased early learning toys to be kitted with books on topics like ‘counting,’ ‘letters,’ ‘music’ and ‘my pets’

It has been a while (2019) since we did a membership drive. Library programming is beginning again and your help is needed.
