I like to describe our Shelter as small but mighty.

We opened in 2012 with the blessings of our Sherriff and ten towns in Franklin County. Today we have eighteen towns contracted with our shelter and this summer we will add another town to the list.

Hundreds of dogs that have entered our shelter in need of a chance and they get theirs here.

With the hands of many active and caring volunteers and two hired staff these dogs become pets.

I have so many stories I could tell; some are heart wrenching others heart giving. All the stories involve families that have animals in our community and how they are impacted by a small but mighty team.
