For animals like Carl, your support is an invaluable gift. Carl is a shepherd mix that was brought to the shelter in February by animal control. Thin to the point of starvation and with a body covered in cuts and sores, it was clear that he lived on the streets for a long time. At FMAS, Carl received food, a warm place to sleep and the medical attention he needs. Carl’s transformation from a homeless dog without hope to a content shelter dog awaiting a loving family is possible with your help. Each day, Carl grows stronger.

FMAS is a private, non-profit, NO KILL shelter serving abused, abandoned and homeless Manchester animals. Each year, FMAS provides over 1,500 animals with food, shelter and medical care through the generous support of community supporters like you. In addition to shelter services, FMAS provides free and low cost spay/neuter services, low cost vaccination and microchip clinics, and a free pet food pantry to over 2,500 families and their pets each year.
