Pioneers Park Nature Center is a beautiful place that thousands of people from Lincoln, greater Nebraska and around the country come to visit. Many use the trails to hike and explore while others stop in the interpretive buildings to see the animals on exhibit. Every year thousands of school children learn about local habitats, life cycles and more.
My daughter attended preschool at the Nature Center and loves every opportunity she has to play outside. The Nature Center fosters her sense of discovery and has built her confidence. I find that my family relaxes in nature and enjoys the beauty and freedom we have there.
Everyone is welcome at the Nature Center and we encourge everyone to visit. The Nature Center is free for the public to visit and we want to keep it free plus allow for families to afford paid programming such as camp and preschool. Please help us to keep the Nature Center open to everyone!
