Friends of the Robolancers

Founded in 1998, the RoboLancers of Central High School is a FIRST robotics team engaged in community impact. With more than 100 members and mentors across two teams, we are FIRST Hall of Fame members, we are 2024 World Champions, and we are winners of the 2023 FIRST Impact Award. Our mission is to inspire and prepare the next generation of STEM leaders in Philadelphia. To that end, more than 80% of RoboLancer alumni decide to pursue STEM studies in college.

Friends of the RoboLancers is our official booster club, made up of community members, RoboLancers families and alumni who share our mission to inspire and prepare the next generation of STEM leaders in Philadelphia. Members work alongside supporters to help the RoboLancers thrive—organizing fundraising efforts and pooling talents to strengthen our team and its impact.
