Friends of the Somerset Public Library

MISSION:  to support a thriving and sustainable Library which is accessible to all.

The Friends of the Somerset Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to making our library the best it can be.  Friends volunteer at library events and financially support library programs which connect our library with the Somerset community.                                                  

The tables in the Maker Space room need to be replaced. The Friends agreed to pay half the price and the Library Board of Trustees will play the other half. The Friends' cost is $2,304.

The Friends would also like to purchase an Imagination Play Station for the children's area. This is a unit similar to a puppet theater. The themed baskets of toys to be used with it would be kitchen gadgets, veterinarian instruments, small vehicles, puppets, and construction tools.
