Friends of the Southwick Rail Trail Incorporated

Since the opening of the Southwick Rail Trail 5 years ago the numbers of people using the trail continues to grow. From the couple who walks the trail each day to the family visiting for a day of biking  the Friends help to maintain the 6.2 mile Southwick Rail Trail for all visitors to enjoy off road biking, walking, jogging, roller blading, and cross country skiing.  We are proud to be part of a 26+ mile rail trail extending from Connecticut to Massachusetts.  The Friends support the healthy benefits and expansion of the rail trail for people of all ages.

*Assist in trail maintenance

*Support the expansion of connecting trails/greenways by working with local groups, departments, and businesses.

 To ensure future generations can enjoy the trail funds are needed for repairs as the trail ages.
