Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter

The Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter is focused on the goal of building a new Animal Shelter in our county. At this new facility we plan to have a vet clinic that will benefit our whole community! We have a vet clinic that is excited to be involved in this project. If you are a resident of Tucker County you know what a big deal it would be to have vet services here - we are so hopeful that we can make this dream a reality, but we need your help now. Please donate and help us build this new facility! 

The commission has already earmarked 5 acres near the High School for this project, enabling us to integrate vo-tech educational opportunities. We have been in communication with both Pierpont and Eastern about creating courses through the vet clinic and shelter. These courses could possibly be offered to high school students or those who wish to continue their education. 

Join us on March 25th to take a hard look at the current TC Animal Shelter, a building made as a water treatment facility - not ever intended to house animals. We do our best to make it a fitting space for animals in their time here, but we can all agree it is time to build a new space that is better for everyone in our community - animals and humans alike!
