Friends of the Weber-Morgan Childrens Justice Center

For Twenty-five years the Weber/Morgan Children's Justice Center has been a child friendly place where child abuse victims and their families receive coordinated services.

 We are proud to say that Ogden led the way, becoming the first Children's Justice Center, which now encompasses 23 individually managed Centers throughout Utah.

 

Having a safe, friendly place where child victims can unburden themselves by telling their story is a vital step in beginning the healing process.

 Since its beginnings, the Center has assisted thousands of children and their families in the investigation and recovery process.

 

Statistics show that one in every four girls and one in every six boys will be a victim of sexual abuse before their eighteenth birthday.

 Unfortunately, only 20% of those crimes are ever reported. More often the injuries inflicted on the smallest members of our society remain hidden in the silent sanctuary of a child's heart.

 

The Weber/Morgan Children’s Justice Center will continue to be a place “where small voices can be heard.”  Your contribution will help children that are subject to abuse and neglect in our community.
