Friends of the Wichita Art Museum Inc

The Friends of the Wichita Art Museum Endowment, administered by the Wichita Community Foundation, funded by our many projects, provides all or in part, funds for WAM Exhibitions and Acquisitions, WAM Library enhancements, and the Howard Wooden Lectures, which are and will continue to be, free and open to the public.

For 55 years the Friends projects have included the Art and Book Fair held each Mother's Day Weekend at Century II. Holidays at the WAM events and Howard Wooden Lectures.

Other popular events include the Art On A Monday lunch and lectures held twice each year and the Howard Wooden dinners prior to each Wooden lecture.  Our ever popular and now famous Art/Cookbook - "Artfully Done, Across Generations",is available with limited copies remaining.
