Friends of the Williamsburg Libraries Inc

The Friends of the Williamsburg Libraries provides support for the bustling Library scene in Williamsburg Massachusetts. We raise funds for and awareness of our two much-loved local libraries: The Meekins Library and the adorable Haydenville Library. Both a public and local school library, the Meekins has been a National Star Library for the past four years! The Friends help make this happen by providing funds for outside-the-budget items like sun shades, a new outside drop- box (which allows patrons to return both books and audio visual materials after hours), and air-conditioning; we also support the purchase of books, periodicals, and DVDs. Our mission is to work on behalf of our libraries. We always need a helping hand, be it through monetary donations or from new volunteers eager to run one of our many fund-raising activities.
