Friends of the Willow Glen Childrens Theatre

Our goal is to raise $1,000 on May 5. The money will support the scholarship fund, which gives more kids access to this wonderful program. Your gift will also go towards the purchase of new lighting equipment which will allow the kids to shine on stage!

 We hope you'll support us today with a gift of $25, $50, or $100. We only need ten gifts of $100 or 20 gifts of $50 to reach our goal. Together, we can make a difference!

 

ABOUT WILLOW GLEN CHILDREN'S THEATRE

“We offer every child the chance to act on stage,” says founding director Gavin Coffing.

​In 1988, Gavin created a unique program that not only allows participants to act in original plays, but also to participate in an organic creative process. Willow Glen Children's Theatre (WGCT) remains one of Silicon Valley’s most innovative children’s theatres.

Our extraordinary approach to theatre gives children the tools to increase self-confidence and make friends in a safe and supportive environment. In addition to acting skills, children develop their presentation, speaking, listening, and reading skills. The final performances evolve organically through collaboration from participants, staff, and director.

Our staff includes talented and dedicated individuals, all former participants. We make it our mission to ensure that each child is successful from start to finish.

The Friends of WGCT is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organized to support WGCT. We directly impact the theatre by providing need-based scholarships, allowing more children access to this wonderful program.
