Friends to Friends

Friends to Friends brings special needs and non-special needs children and their families together in a social environment through sports activities such as bowling and baseball. The purpose of the program is to bring greater awareness through integration. Friends to Friends, Inc. is unique in that it does not segregate the children, but brings them together to play, participate, and learn a respect and enjoyment for each other. The bowling program meets every other Saturday at Nesbit's Lanes in Plum Borough and once a month at Brookville Lanes in Brookville, Pa. We include all children and adults regardless of disability and have volunteers bowl with the kids from organizations such as boy scouts, church groups, young marines, college students etc. Our bowling program has been very successful because it includes the family and is one of a kind in the area.
