Friends of Wilderness Park Inc

The Friends of Wilderness Park (FWP) is a nonprofit group dedicated to the preservation of Wilderness Park as a unique and highly sensitive biological community within a prairie ecosystem, a natural flood control buffer for Salt Creek, and a destination of respite and recreation for the people of Lincoln.

Over the past year Friends of Wilderness Park has organized guided hikes, hosted various local candidate forums and educational programs, removed invasive species and raised money to build and repair bridges in Wilderness Park.
