Family Support & Treatment Center

The Family Support & Treatment Center (Utah Valley Family Support Center) has been a home of hope and healing in our community for over 30 years. Our mission is to build a community of healthy, happy individuals and families. This is accomplished through education and the prevention and treatment of child abuse, trauma and other personal and family concerns.

Services include a Crisis Respite Nursery; Therapy services; and Prevention Education. More information is available at www.UtahValleyFamilySupport.org.

The Crisis Respite Nursery is a safe, home-like place for children under 12 years old whose families need extra support during stressful situations. We have regular business hours, but this service can be made available on a 24 hour basis, 7 days a week in crisis situations.

Therapy services are offered by our expert staff (LCSW, CSW, RPT-S) who provide opportunities to heal from traumatic experiences. Professional counseling is available for children, adults and families whose lives have been affected by child abuse or other personal and families issues. Therapy is tailored to meet individual needs and includes play therapy, sand tray therapy and other experiential modalities.

Prevention education occurs in presentations to schools and community groups in the Alpine, Nebo and Provo districts. No cost, district approved information is presented to preschool through high school students.

Parenting courses and in-home instruction and coaching happens throughout Utah County and surrounding counties.

We do A LOT with a little and maximize every donation made to our agency. We need your help to continue to help young children and families dealing with traumatic experiences or at-risk of abuse or neglect. Help us provide hope and healing.
