Friends of the Dubuque County Conservation Board

The programs are well attended with full capacity and a waiting list for over half of the events scheduled. Currently we have 35 camps set for this summer which are mostly filled. The education component covers most things related to conservation from clean air to water, and everything in between. Most of the work that volunteers of the Friends do is cleaning sites, helping with tree and brush removal, painting or staining , building items such as picnic tables and anything that we can do to beautify, enhance and make the areas safer.
