Furgotten Friends Dog Rescue Inc

Halloween of 2010 a box of 7 puppies was found in the lobby of a Petsmart in Las Vegas NV. The workers called Manda who was a groomer there to see what could be done. Manda called Jane and said "What should we do?" to which Jane replied "BRING THEM HOME!"

What we thought were boston terrier pups just a couple weeks old turned out to be 7 week old pit bull pups. So severely dehydrated & malnourished we almost lost one the very first night The smallest one was only a pound.

We nursed them back to health & found "pawsome" homes for them all. After that we began to get requests to help. Manda & Jane realized after years of fostering & volunteering it was time to jump in with both feet & start their own rescue, Thus Furgotten Friends Dog Rescue was born!
Our rescue relies solely on volunteers & donations. No paid employees. Currently all the dogs are in foster homes but we would love to have a facility where all the dogs can be along with programs for the public such as low cost clinics & education.
