Furniture Friends

Furniture Friends provides donated furniture to people in need throughout Greater Portland. With ongoing support from the community, we are able to fulfill our mission of "Creating Homes, Rebuilding Lives."

By providing people with essential furniture, we:

• help children get a good night’s rest by providing beds for them in which to sleep,
• provide comfort and security to people suffering from physical, mental, or other chronic illnesses,
• aid families fleeing war-torn countries in transitioning to permanent housing,
• support people who have been homeless by helping create safe and stable housing,
• and, restore dignity and respect to veterans who've served our country and fallen on hard times.

We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses to donate gently used furniture that serves as the essential building blocks of people's homes.
